Here at Twelve Trees we are committed to delivering bespoke and high quality training to all Twelve Trees staff.

We provide mandatory training for all 15 care standards as a minimum, along with additional, comprehensive individual sessions such as bipolar awareness, oral hygiene, behaviours & responses and documentation. We are always adapting our services to both employees and clients and new sessions, including those that are client specific, are being developed on an ongoing basis.  Training is an absolute priority at Twelve Trees and everyone who joins the team and doesn’t currently hold a qualification in Health and Social Care will receive guidance and support to complete the Care Certificate. Employees who wish to further advance their careers will be supported to complete a Diploma (at any level) in Health and Social Care, or any other qualification that would be relevant to their position.

We are recruiting Home Care Support Workers to join our Home Care team, providing person centred care to our clients in their own homes in and around Sheffield to enable them to live as  independently as possible.

You will be responsible for providing a high level of care, individually  tailored to each client based on their needs and personal preferences. The types of duties you may  undertake include: 

  • Personal Care such as personal hygiene, dressing, undressing and bathing. 
  • General cleaning duties including; laundry, bed making and ironing. 
  • Preparation of snacks, meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration. 
  • Providing support with mobility 
  • Companionship, shopping, trips out 

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role. Whilst previous  experience in this type of role would be an advantage, it is not essential.

We will provide you with full  training, coaching and support to enable you to feel fully confident in your new role. A full enhanced  DBS check is required for this role, which we will pay for. You will also be provided with your staff  uniforms, ID badge and all other equipment at no cost to you. 

As a growing business there are opportunities for development and progression for those who are  interested, including short, bespoke courses and diploma’s in Health and Social Care. 

School hours available – Shifts starting from 9am. 

In addition to this we offer competitive rates of pay as follows: 

Monday to Friday, Days (7am – 10pm) – £11.30 per hour 

Saturday and Sunday, Days (7am – 10pm) – £12.35 per hour

We also pay you for travel time between calls and a mileage rate of 45p per mile.

Senior Carer – Care Home

We are currently looking for a dedicated Senior Carer to join our highly skilled team within our award-winning Care Home.

The types of duties you may undertake include: –

  • To ensure clients are provided with the highest standards of care and support, in accordance with the organisation philosophy, policies and procedures, following individualised, person-centred care plans.
  • Carry out assessment of care needs of the residents, plan and implement appropriate care in consultation with the resident, relatives, appropriate person and the wider care team when required.
  • Produce person centred care plans and risk assessments for existing residents, ensuring they are updated regularly and to reflect changes in needs.
  • Build good relationships with residents and their families, review daily care notes to help maintain and improve care delivery, individuality, mobility, dignity, respect and choice at all times.
  • Be responsive to reports from Care Support Workers regarding any changes in residents’ conditions and/or circumstances and act timely and effectively when these changes occur.
  • To report back to the management team on any aspect of client care which they feel warrants investigation or urgent action.

We will provide the successful applicant with full training, coaching and support to enable you to feel fully confident in this role.

Experience of using MS Word and Outlook is essential, along with good communication and organisational skills.

You must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum, and ideally be working towards a Level 3 (or equivalent).

You must have also worked in Health and Social Care for a minimum of 2 years, with at least 1 year being at a Senior Level or equivalent.

Please note that this role will be working on a rotational shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.

Pay rates will be increasing to £12.60 per hour in April 2024 with pay rates annually reviewed in April.

Care Assistant – Nights

Job description

Twelve Trees Care Home is part of the Twelve Trees Care group based in the Nether Edge area of Sheffield.

We are proud to have been providing care for the elderly since 1994. Our Care Home is set is a quiet leafy area, where we also offer Respite and Day Care, with plenty of stimulating and interesting activities.

All our staff are highly trained in delivering person-centered care for each client and both the Care Home and Home Care have “Good” CQC ratings.

We are actively recruiting for two Care Support Workers to join our Care Home team for 6 nights per week, providing person-centered care to our clients.

You will be responsible for providing a high level of care, individually tailored to each client based on their needs and personal preferences.

The types of duties you may undertake include: –

  • All aspects of personal hygiene including personal care such as washing, bathing, grooming, shaving and cleaning teeth
  • Assistance with nutrition and hydration
  • Providing support with mobility
  • Administering medication
  • Record keeping
  • End of life care
  • Dressing and undressing of clients

Good communication skills and previous experience of a minimum of 1 year in a care home is essential for this role.
