Twelve Trees Day Care and Companionship

At Twelve Trees we have our own dedicated activities team who plan, create and deliver activities on a daily basis. Our Activities Coordinators, Carole and Viv, and our Day Care Coordinator Lisa, have a wealth of experience and knowledge, having worked for Twelve Trees for well over 30 years between them.

Activities can be on a one-to-one basis, which allows the team to focus on the individual, which is particularly beneficial for residents with dementia.

Group activities provides a chance for residents to socialise, create relationships and improve physical and emotional health. We arrange trips and outings for our residents on a regular basis including parks, shopping, coffee shops, local landmarks and other attractions. Often our activities include craft sessions, chair aerobics, pet therapy, games and quizzes, sing along and live entertainers. We use various external providers, alongside our inhouse Activities Coordinators, such as; Motion, Challenge Archie, and many more…
