• Depends on the situation. It is often a couple looking after each other so it gives the carer a break

• Care is often at home to start with. People then go into care when they can no longer live at home safely.

When should a person with dementia go to a nursing home?

• When it is no longer safe to live at home. And they can’t be cared for by their partner/family. When the risk is too great, it is the time
